December's Artist: Rachelle Behrens

Rachelle has been playing music since the age of 5. She began with classical Piano studies then she graduated to the drums in her teens. She finally began singing lead in bands in her 20’s. Her knowledge of music theory and understanding of rhythm makes Rachelle a strong musical presence. When watching Rachelle perform, you can see her love of music. A true musician and performer, no matter the crowd, whether 5 or 5000 she doesn’t disappoint. Rachelle has performed on practically every stage in Ottawa and surrounding areas. Her present projects include the Soul Review Board, The FunKtion, Brian Downey quartet, as well as jazz and rock/pop ensembles.
